on the Memorial Day for the heroes of Kruty

 

Lessons we learn from historical events, both from sacrificial fight of students near Kruty and selfless struggle of young men in Donbas, prove that a country should have a powerful, well-armed and well-trained army for protecting its borders. While feats of heroes of liberation struggle and our contemporaries are becoming legends, politicians should make everything possible to protect Ukraine and its citizens.

Unfortunately, now we are paying a very high price because defence capacity of our country has been destroyed for many years. Today it is the priority of activity of the Parliament and all branches of power. Developing Ukrainian army has become a great national matter involving the society. 

Memory about heroes of Kruty awakens our conscience, inspires our spirit, and calls foruncompromising struggle for the Independence of Ukraine.
