November 8, 2016 – official visit of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to Slovenia.
February 12, 2017 – working visit of President of Slovenia Borut Pahor to Ukraine.
May 11, 2018 - official visit of President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor to Ukraine.
September 1, 2019 - President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with President of Slovenia B.Pahor in Warsaw during the events, dedicated to the 2nd WW.
Dialogue at the parliamentary level:
November 24, 2018 - Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy had a meeting with President of National Council of Slovenia Alojiž Kovšca.
Dialogue between Foreign Ministries:
July 14, 2015 – working visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Karl Erjavec to Ukraine.
October 14, 2019 - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Miro Cerar in Luxembourg.
Intergovernmental cooperation: relations between Parliaments of Ukraine and Slovenia develop mostly in multilateral forums. At the end of 2018 in Slovenian parliament was established friendship group with Ukraine.
Bilateral bodies: there were 8 sittings of the Joint Ukrainian-Slovenian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation (established 12.05.1997). The last one took place in Kyiv in February 2019.
The legal basis of bilateral relations: the legal framework of bilateral cooperation consists of 32 documents.
