On October 16, 2017, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo Brodovych had a meeting with newly appointed Rector of the University of Ljubljana Igor Papič.

During the meeting a wide range of issues was discussed, special attention was paid to the intensification of regional cooperation between higher educational institutions of Ukraine and Slovenia. The Ambassador of Ukraine invited Mr Igor Papič to visit Ukraine and confuct the negotiation with his Ukrainian collegues.

Igor Papič expressed his interest in establishing contacts with the leadership of the Ukrainian higher educational institutions and agreed to pay a visit.

In the framework of the meeting Ambassador of Ukraine also briefed the rector on the latest developments in our country, the implementation of the Minsk agreements by Russia and the real situation in eastern Ukraine.
