On January 25, 2018, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych held a meeting with Chair of the Committee on Foreign Policy  of the National Assembly of Slovenia Jožef Horvat.

During the meeting a wide range of issues was discussed, special attention was paid to the issues related to situation in Donbas, as well as implementation of Minsk agreements.

The Ambassador of Ukraine also emphasized the necessity to launch the UN peacekeeping operation in Donbas.

The sides also discussed the possibility to include in the agenda of the nearest session of the National Assembly of Slovenia the issue regarding the recognition of Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.
