On April 22, 2018, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych participated in the round table, dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of Slovenia’s membership in the Council of Europe,  organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia. The leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Justice of Slovenia, representatives of the diplomatic corps, accredited in Slovenia, as well as scientists attended the event.

The Ambassador raised a point regarding the violation of human rights by Russia at the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory, informed audience about the violation by the Russian side of the norms and principles of international law, as well as its obligations under bilateral and multilateral agreements.

It was also stressed that Russia could not return to the Council of Europe, until it respects rule of law and fulfills all the resolutions, adopted within organization.
