On November 27, 2018, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych held a meeting with Director of Study Centre for National Reconciliation Andreja Valič Zver.

In the framework of the meeting it was discussed the results of the international conference «The Dark Side of the Moon», which took place in Ljubljana on November 13-15, during which political prisoner of Kremlin Oleg Sentsov received the Prize of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience.

Special attention was focused on possible ways for fighting against Russian propaganda.

The sides also discussed the so-called «russian cultural events» that the Russian Federation uses to promote military and totalitarian values.

During the meeting it was touched the issues of Holodomor, discussed the International Forum, dedicated to 85-th anniversary of Holodomor. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of condemning this artificially organized crime by the Stalin's regime, aimed at the destruction of the Ukrainian nation.

In this context, it was agreed to organize a joint Ukrainian-Slovenian round table in 2019, dedicated to Holodomor in Ukraine.
