On January 8, 2019, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Sport Jernej Pikalo.

During the talks the sides expressed mutual satisfaction with the level of bilateral cooperation, which shows positive trends every year.

 

Special attention was paid to the importance of strengthening the scientific ties between Ukraine and Slovenia, as well as to the necessity of intensifying the contacts in the field of sport. It was emphasized the common interest in expanding the horizons of cooperation between higher educational institutions of both countries.

 

The sides also discussed the bilateral treaty basis.
