On 5 April 2019 Ambassador Mr.M.Brodovych took part at the event «Business 2 Diplomacy», organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.

The aim of a series of events is to present Slovenian innovative export oriented companies and national institutions to the representatives of diplomatic corps in Slovenia.

During the event Acting Director of the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development (IMAD) Ms.Maja Bednaš presented the activities of the institute.

IMAD is an independent government office, mandated to monitor, analyze and forecast economic, social and environmental developments. It serves as the national productivity board tasked to analyze productivity and competitiveness of the Slovenian economy. IMAD`s macroeconomic forecasts represent background documents used by Slovenian government in preparing economic policy measures and drafting the state budget.

During the meeting the Director-General for Economic and Public Diplomacy of MFA of the Republic of Slovenia Ms.A.Suhadolnik also informed about the Tree Seas Initiative events to be held in Slovenia in June 2019.
