In connection with the terrible catastrophe of the Boeing-737-800 of «Ukraine International Airlines», which claimed the lives of 176 passengers and crew members, citizens of Ukraine, Iran, Canada, Sweden, Afghanistan, Germany and the United Kingdom, at the Embassy was open a Book of Condolences.

Almost 30 heads of foreign missions, accredited in Slovenia, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia and other authorities, mayors of municipalities extended their sincere condolences and expressed deepest sympathies to the families of the victims.
