On March 6, 2024, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovenia H.E. Mr. Andrii Taran met with the founder and head of the Slovenian Society of Lacanian Psychoanalysis, Mrs. Nina Krajnik, who is also the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal "Object of Desire" and the book publication "Juno".

The parties discussed the current security situation in Ukraine in the context of Russia's ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine, as well as the informational influence of the russians in the region, and in Slovenia in particular.

Nina Krajnik shared impressions of her recent trip to Ukraine, during which she visited the city of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, as well as Kyiv and Bucha. Nina Krainik expressed her admiration for the resilience of the Ukrainian people in the fight against the russian aggressor.

During the meeting, parties also discussed the possibilities of establishing cooperation between the Slovenian Society of Lacanian Psychoanalysis and similar institutions in Ukraine for the organization of psychological post-traumatic rehabilitation of people who suffered as a result of russia's war against Ukraine, as well as a number of joint activities with the Embassy of Ukraine for the near future.
