On May 19, 2025, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, Petro Beshta, held a constructive meeting with the Head of the Ukrainian-Slovenian Interparliamentary Friendship Group, Dejan Premik.

During the discussion, key issues of bilateral partnership, support for Ukraine on the international stage, and joint efforts to ensure stability and security on the European continent were addressed.

Parties also disscussed further the development of interparliamentary cooperation and agreed on the implementation of joint projects to enhance contacts between parliaments, particularly through parliamentary friendship groups, to deepen dialogue between the legislative bodies of the two countries, and to strengthen friendship between their peoples.

Ambassador Petro Beshta expressed gratitude to Dejan Premik for his participation in the Bring Kids Back UA information campaign and called for continued active involvement in various initiatives of this project aimed at supporting Ukraine.

The Slovenian representative emphasized solidarity with Ukraine and its people, reaffirming readiness to provide comprehensive support in the future!
