On October 2, 2024, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Mr. Andrii Taran, met with the Ambassador of Spain to Slovenia, Javier García-Canturri. During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda. The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to the Spanish side for the support of the Ukrainian state and the Ukrainian people, who are fighting against large-scale russian aggression.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed a wide range of issues regarding further cooperation between the two diplomatic missions. They agreed on specific areas of collaboration for the near future.
