On 7th of Mrach, 2024 Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovenia H.E. Mr. Andrii Taran met with the newly appointed Director of the Department of Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Dejan Vladič.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the development of the security situation in Ukraine in the context of russia's ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine. The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the Republic of Slovenia, in particular in the military, financial and humanitarian spheres.

The interlocutors also discussed specific issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular the activation of the inter-parliamentary dialogue, the organization of contacts between the leaders of Ukraine and Slovenia at the highest level, mutual support of the candidacies of both countries in international organizations.

The ambassador congratulated Mr. Dejan Vladič on his appointment and expressed hope for further fruitful and active cooperation to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and Slovenia.
