On October 1, 2023, on the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine, at the cultural center “Cankarjev dom” in Ljubljana, for the first time in Slovenia, a spectacular and extremely emotional performance of the Ukrainian National Folk Dance Ensemble Virsky took place

The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Nataša Pirc Musar together with her Spouse De. Aleš Musar, who met with the artists after the concert and took a group photo with them.

Before the concert, those gathered honored the memory of all the defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives defending their Motherland from Russian aggression.

An exciting dance show performed by the ensemble united both Ukrainian and Slovenian spectators, who were able to see the best performances by talented and highly professional artists of the ensemble.

The event was also attended by Ukrainian soldiers who are undergoing a rehabilitation course in the Republic of Slovenia from serious injuries received in battles with the russian aggressor.

The concert traditionally ended with a standing ovation from the hall and a joint performance of the national anthem of Ukraine.
