On October 14, 2023, the Ukrainian community and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Slovenia presented Ukraine at the traditional international diplomatic fair called "SILA BAZAAR - 2023", organized by the SILA - International Women's Club Ljubljana.

Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Andrii Taran personally took part in the work of Ukrainian stands, introduced Ukrainian culinary products, drinks, and souvenirs to distinguished guests and participants of the event, and held a number of meetings with representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Slovenia.

 Traditionally, Ukrainian stands and a concert program attract a lot of attention from international and Slovenian participants and guests of the fair.

This year, the Ukrainian stand was visited by the First Gentleman of the Republic of Slovenia Dr. Aleš Musar, who tasted Ukrainian uzvar and potato dumplings and also bought a book on the history of Ukraine.

Dr. Aleš Musar emphasized that Slovenia has always supported and will continue to support Ukraine.

The event demonstrated an extremely high level of support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people from foreign citizens. Ukrainian heroic resistance to russian aggression continues to evoke great respect and empathy from Ukrainian friends.
