On July 28, 2022, the marking of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood took place on the territory of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Slovenia, with the participation of representatives of the Ukrainian community in Slovenia, Ukrainian refugees, as well as representatives of the Slovenian media.

The official сeremony started by raising of the National Flag of Ukraine and the joint performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Mr.Andriy Taran addressed all those present with a welcoming speech.

Kharkiv artist and singer Irina Bondarenko adorned the unofficial part of the event. Also, all those present jointly sang the Ukrainian popular folk song "Oy u luzi chervona kalyna".
