The event was held in order to draw the attention of the Slovenian and European society to the ongoing full-scale armed aggression of russia against Ukraine, acts of genocide and ecocide against the Ukrainian population, in particular to the terrible crime of the russian occupying forces - the blowing up of the Kakhovska HPP dam.

The action started in front of the building of the Slovenian Parliament. Later, the participants marched through the central streets of the capital of Slovenia, stopping for a picket near the embassy of the aggressor country.

The event attracted attention from the Slovenian media. Interviews of Ukrainian activists were included in the evening news broadcast on the main television and radio broadcaster of Slovenia "RTV Slovenia".
