Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia Petro Beshta held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia Jernej Vrtovec.

The key focus of the discussion was strengthening Ukraine’s energy and infrastructure resilience amid Russia’s ongoing missile and drone attacks aimed at destroying Ukraine’s civilian and critical infrastructure.

The sides discussed in detail:

• the implementation of ongoing joint initiatives and prospects for launching new bilateral cooperation projects;
• the use of Slovenian expertise, technologies and equipment to provide immediate support to and restore Ukraine’s energy system;
• the development of logistics routes and infrastructure connectivity between the two countries.

Ambassador Petro Beshta expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovenian people for their unwavering solidarity, practical assistance and clear support for Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and the security of the whole of Europe.
