The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Dr. Rober Golob and the Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran met in Slovenia a Joint unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which included special equipment for effectively overcoming the consequences of floods, which led to human casualties and catastrophic damage.

The Prime Minister of Slovenia expressed his gratitude to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the people of Ukraine for the significant and effective assistance to Slovenia, despite the fact that russia continues its aggressive war against Ukraine.

After the arrival of the convoy of technicians and personnel to Slovenia, the Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran thanked for all the help that Slovenia provided to Ukraine and noted that now Slovenia can also count on help from Ukraine.

Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran: "I have said many times that we appreciate all the support that we received from Slovenia. Therefore, as soon as we received information about what happened in Slovenia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs reported to the President, and he immediately approved the decision to provide assistance to Slovenia."

The Joint unit will begin active work to eliminate the serious consequences of floods in the region of Zgornji Savinjski soon.
