To the Statehood Day of the Republic of Slovenia, and to the anniversary of UNITED24 - the official fundraising platform of Ukraine with donors from 110 countries, in partnership with the Міністерство закордонних справ України / MFA of Ukraine, we would like to express gratitude to all Slovenians standing with Ukraine and sharing our path to the great victory over russian aggression.

7,9 million Ukrainians have left the country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and found their second home all over the world, almost 7000 of them – in Slovenia. Millions of those who stay in Ukraine also feel the Slovenia’s support daily. 

We are grateful for everything Slovenia has done, including the immediate reaction to the catastrophe in the Kherson region due to the russian terroristic act at Khahovka hydroelectric station.

We also highly appreciate the support from ordinary Slovenian people, who brought humanitarian aid to the humanitarian centers in Slovenia, sent such aid directly to Ukraine, and helped Ukrainian people here in Slovenia. 

Slovenia is not a big State but with a big heart.

That is why we launched this “Thank you” campaign in the capital of Slovenia with city lights showing how grateful we are for every help of every Slovenian citizen
