On June 3, 2023, on World Bicycle Day, representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine took part in a diplomatic bicycle race in support of Ukraine #CyclingForUkraine.

The event was organized on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Slovenia, the mayor of Škofja Loka Municipality T. Radinja, and the head of the Union of Pensioners of Škofja Loka Municipality M. Ješe.

The main purpose of the event was to draw attention to the charitable initiative of the Škofja Loka municipality to collect funds for the purchase of school buses for the Ukrainian city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, to express solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, and once again to remind about the ongoing war of Russia against Ukraine.

During the race, the participant covered a distance of more than 20 km.
