On March 28, 2018, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych participated in the round table “EU Development and Interests of Slovenia”, organized by the Club of Former Ambassadors. The speaker at this event was the Chairman of the National Assembly of Slovenia Milan Brglez, who informed about future cooperation between Slovenia and the EU, outlined the prospects of the organization's development in connection with the political processes that are currently taking place in the world. Special attention was paid to the human rights, migration policy, as well as the rule of law and the European values.
In the context of chemical attack in Great Britain, in particular the situation around the expulsion of Russian diplomats, the Ambassador drew attention to the fact that due to the gross violation by the Russian Federation of the international law and human rights, it is necessary to consolidate efforts to counter aggression.
He also called on Slovenia to join those countries that have already decided to declare persona non grata of a number of Russian diplomats.
