On April 5, 2018, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych participated in the meeting of the Committee on Defence of the National Assembly of Slovenia, dedicated to the membership of Slovenia in NATO. The event was headed by Chairman of the Committee Žan Mahnič.

The Ambassador informed the audience about the current situation in Ukraine, provided statistics on the losses of our state in the fight against the aggressor.

The Ambassador also emphasized the necessity to launch the UN peacekeeping operation in Donbas.

The Slovenian side was informed about the situation in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as violations of human rights by the Russian Federation.
