On 30 May the Ambassador Mr.M.Brodovych had a regional trip to Koper and met with the Mayor of Koper Mr.B.Popovič.

The Ambassador informed Mr.Popovič about the results of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Slovenia Mr.B.Pahor to Ukraine on 11 May, in particular about the positive dynamics of bilateral relations in all spheres including economic.

The sides also confirmed mutual interest to develop interregional Ukrainian-Slovenian cooperation, especially between the Odesa State Region Administration and Municipality of Koper.

Mayor Popovič during the meeting also signed the texts of the Memorandum of cooperation between the Odesa State Region Administration and Municipality of Koper, as well as invited the official delegation from Odesa to visit Koper in order to present the municipality potential and establish mutually beneficial cooperation.
