On October 5, 2018, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych held a meeting with Chair of the Committee on Foreign Policy  of the National Assembly of Slovenia Matjaž Nemec.

During the meeting a wide range of issues was discussed, special attention was paid to the issues related to situation in Donbas, as well as the necessary to bring to the responsibility the Russian Federation.

The sides also discussed the issue of Holodomor 1932-1933 in Ukraine. In this regard the Ambassador called on the Slovenian side to consider the possibility to include in the agenda of the nearest session of the Committee on Foreign Policy the issue regarding the condemnation of this artificially organized crime by the Stalin's regime, aimed at the destruction of the Ukrainian nation.
