On November 13, 2018, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych participated in the international conference «The Dark Side of the Moon».

The event was opened by President of Slovenia Borut Pahor and Director of Study Centre for National Reconciliation Andreja Valič Zver. The conference is attended by representatives of academic circles, experts in the field of human rights research.

In the framework of the conference the Ambassador held a meeting with Andreja Valič Zver. The sides discussed violations of human rights in the temporarily occupied Crimea, special attention was paid to the political prisoners. The Slovenian side expressed a strong interest in holding additional meetings to discuss these topics in detail.

On Wednesday, 14 November, on the sidelines of the conference the prize of the Platform for European Memory and Consciousness will be awarded to Ukrainian filmmaker and political prisoner Oleg Sentsov.
