On October 17, 2019 Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych participated in the conference «30 Years Since the Fall of the Iron Curtain», organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Embassy of Slovak Republic.

President of the National Council Alojz Kovšca, Head of the European Commission Representation in Slovenia Zoran Stančič, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, accredited in Slovenia, took part in the event.

During the discussion the Ambassador drew attention of the audience to the unchanging Euro-Atlantic course of our country, emphasized that the amendments, made in February 2019 to the Constitution, establish the irrevocability of the choice of Ukraine - European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Taking that opportunity, the Ambassador informed about the situation in Donbas, stressed upon the systematic violations norms and principles of international law by the Russian Federation.

The Ambassador briefed the audience on the main stages of implementation of the so-called «Steinmeier formula».
