On September 24, 2019 Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo F. Brodovych held a meeting with newly appointed Ambassador of the USA Lynda C. Blanchard.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the USA for consistent support of our independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as expressed the hope that such position will be unchangeable after the scheduled meeting of our presidents in the framework of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.

The sides exchanged views on the current trends in Slovenia's domestic and political life, discussed some issues of the European agenda, in particular in the context of the European integration of Ukraine.

The Ambassador outlined the dynamics of the Ukrainian-Slovenian political contacts, as well as achievements at the bilateral level.

Taking this opportunity Ambassador informed the American side about current situation in Donbas region, as well as pointed out the facts of the systematic violation of the Minsk agreements by Russia.
