The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, expressed gratitude the Ambassador of Ukraine for his personal contribution to the development of friendly and extremely effective bilateral relations between Ukraine and Slovenia in all areas, noted the high level of political dialogue at the highest level and expressed hope for the active development of bilateral relations in the future.

The interlocutors discussed the current security situation in Ukraine and the world, in particular, the Ambassador of Ukraine informed President Nataša Pirc Musar about the current situation on the battlefield. In turn, the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar condemned the ongoing russian aggression against Ukraine, and emphasized that Ukraine, as a sovereign state and a victim of aggression, should have the last word in future peace negotiations.
