Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Mrs. Tanja Fajon, in connection with the fulfillment of his powers as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia.

Madam Minister thanked the Ambassador of Ukraine for his contribution to developing friendly bilateral relations between Ukraine and Slovenia in all areas, noted the high level of political dialogue, and expressed hope for the active development of bilateral relations in the future. The Minister also noted the high level of personal activity of the Ambassador of Ukraine despite the ongoing full-scale russian war against Ukraine.

The Ambassador of Ukraine, in turn, expressed gratitude to Minister T. Fajon for her position in support of Ukraine, her solidarity with the Ukrainian people, and her active work with the Slovenian MFA in providing financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

The interlocutors discussed in detail the results of Minister`s Fajon recent visit to Kyiv, as well as the further cooperation between the states, and the development of already initiated bilateral cooperation projects. The Minister expressed her commitment to further support for Ukraine.
