Today, the Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran met with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Sajovic in connection with the fulfillment of his powers as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia. The ambassador also met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Slovenia Damir Črnceč.

Minister of Defense Borut Sajovic expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran for his contribution to the development of friendly bilateral relations between Ukraine and Slovenia in the field of security and defense and noted the high level of interaction between the defense departments of both countries, including due to the personal active activities of the Ambassador of Ukraine.

Minister assured the Ambassador to Ukraine of the unwavering position on supporting Ukraine, expressed his admiration for the courage of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Ukrainian people, who have been offering armed resistance to Russian full-scale aggression for the third year, and expressed hope for the earliest establishment of just peace.

The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Minister for his position in support of Ukraine, his solidarity with the Ukrainian people, as well as the high level of effective cooperation in the defense sector between Ukraine and Slovenia since the first days of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
