On January 9, 2024, the Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Andrii Taran held a meeting with the State Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister of Slovenia Mr. Vojko Volk, and the Director of the Department of Security Policy of the MFEA of Slovenia Mr.Andrej Slapnicar. 

The meeting was held in the context of the preparation for the meeting of security advisors regarding the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, which is scheduled for January 14, 2024 in Davos, Switzerland, as well as to discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Slovenia.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran also informed the Slovenian side in detail about the consequences of the russian mass shelling of Ukraine, which was carried out on the eve of the meeting and during which dozens of Ukrainian citizens were killed and hundreds were injured.
