Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Petro Beshta, held an important meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Boštjan Pavlin. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the defence sector.
Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to the Slovenian side for its unwavering support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. He specifically noted Slovenia's recent accession to the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) initiative. This step is a significant contribution to strengthening our nation's defence capabilities.
The Ambassador also expressed gratitude for all the bilateral military assistance provided by Slovenia, which has included both weaponry and humanitarian support for Ukrainian defenders.
During the conversation, the parties discussed in detail further steps to deepen cooperation between the defence ministries of the two countries. Concrete areas for the development of bilateral relations were agreed upon, which will contribute to even more effective interaction in the future.
Ukraine highly values Slovenia's help and solidarity. Every gesture of support, every piece of equipment provided, and every joint decision brings our common victory closer.
