Today, October 21, 2025, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, Petro Beshta, participated in the grand opening of the major international defense exhibition "SIDEK".
The event serves as an important platform for demonstrating modern defense technologies and deepening international cooperation in the security sphere.
The exhibition provided a unique venue for meetings between military personnel, politicians, representatives of defense industries, business people, and government officials from various countries.
During the opening of the exhibition, the Ambassador held a series of important meetings. In particular, discussions were held with:
The Minister of Defence of Slovenia, B. Sajovic;
The State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, B. Paulin;
The Assistant to the President of the Management Board of the Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SDH), Mr. Damir Črnčec.The key topic of the discussions was the continued support for Ukraine in its fight for freedom and independence, as well as the deepening of bilateral cooperation in the defense industry.
