Today, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Mr. Petro Beshta, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar.

Following the official ceremony and signing of the guestbook at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Slovenia, Ambassador Petro Beshta and President Nataša Pirc Musar held a personal meeting. 

Parties discussed the dynamic international political and security situation, the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, as well as Slovenia’s support for Ukraine amid the ongoing war waged by Russia against our country.

Madam President H.E. Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar reaffirmed Slovenia’s unwavering position in support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. 

She emphasized the importance of Ukraine and EU countries being necessarily involved in the political process of finding ways to end Russia’s war against Ukraine. She also assured continued support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people at all levels from the Republic of Slovenia.

President of the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar reiterated her commitment to the principle of "nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine" and stated that a just and lasting peace is possible only with the participation of Ukraine and the EU in the process of its achievement.
