Today, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovenia H.E. Mr. Petro Beshta provided a video commentary for the leading Slovenian media STA regarding the negotiations between the Ukrainian and U.S. delegations in Saudi Arabia, which took place on March 11, 2025.

The Ambassador stated that Ukraine is ready to advance toward a just resolution of the war and supports the U.S. initiative to implement a temporary ceasefire for 30 days, provided there is mutual agreement from Russia.

 Additionally, the Ambassador thanked Slovenia for its prompt public response to the negotiations in Saudi Arabia from the country’s top political leadership, including Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, and others.

Ambassador Beshta emphasized that restoring peace now fully depends on russia’s position.
