Cyber Army Russia Reborn, a hacking group linked to russian intelligence services, announced this week the launch of a campaign against Slovenia on the "X" network.

As the representatives of the group themselves noted, the main reason for the cyber attacks is Slovenia's joining the Czech initiative on joint purchases of large-caliber ammunition outside the European Union for Ukraine.

The first target of Russian cyber-terrorists was the website of the President of the Republic of Slovenia N. Pirc Musar, access to which was blocked for several hours on 03/27/2024. As Slovenian experts in the field of cyber security noted, the relevant cyber attack was a coordinated flow of requests, the main purpose of which is to load the server and make it difficult for users to access it.

After the attack on the website of the President of Slovenia and the websites of other government bodies, on 28/03/2024 hackers also attacked the web portal of the Slovenian state broadcaster RTV Slovenia.

Cyber specialists of the media portal confirmed that on March 28, 2024, a massive DDOS attack took place and a significant increase in traffic to the site from abroad.

It should be noted that the aforementioned cyber-incidents were preceded by an information campaign on the X social network
