The development of human resource potential and the implementation of innovative engineering solutions are strategic priorities for the restoration and strengthening of Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Within the framework of the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Slovenia and at the invitation of our reliable industrial partners — the companies Litostroj Power and Riko, a group of technical specialists and engineers of PJSC Ukrhydroenergo, led by Chief Engineer Arseniy Zelenskyi, successfully completed a training stage within the Hydroschool program.
The working visit covered key energy and production sites in Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Austria.
The main goal of the mission was a detailed study of the technological cycles of production of modern hydraulic units for further modernization and strengthening of the resilience of Ukrainian hydroelectric power plants.
In Slovenia: The delegation familiarized itself in detail with the facilities of the Litostroj Power plant (Ljubljana) and the operation of the Brežice hydroelectric power plant. This allowed Ukrainian specialists to directly discuss current technical challenges faced by Ukrainian stations in the conditions of war with European developers.
Partnership and dialogue: With the assistance of the Embassy and the company Riko, important meetings were held with the Association of Energy Producers of Slovenia and the engineering group HSE Group.
The experience and technical developments gained will become the basis for the implementation of modern technologies at Ukrainian facilities. This is a critically important step for increasing the stability of our energy system and the effective restoration of lost capacities.
The Embassy of Ukraine continues to work actively on attracting the best European experience and investment to support the energy sector of Ukraine!
