On December 6, 2024, a solemn ceremony of raising the National Flag of Ukraine and the joint performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine was held on the territory of the Embassy of Ukraine in Slovenia with the participation of the representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine, representatives of the Ukrainian community in Slovenia, and Slovenian friends of Ukraine.

In his welcoming speech, the Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Taran congratulated everyone on the holiday and called on Ukrainians to continue supporting the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Today we thank those in whom we believe the most, whom we wait so much for, who give us real miracles every day - our defenders. Thanks to you, Ukraine holds on and repels the enemy.
